Male Orgasm Profile

male orgasm profile
Men become aroused very quickly, and can gain an erection in a few seconds. A man requires little foreplay to become aroused and can achieve orgasm within minutes or sometimes seconds. Immediately after orgasm a mans’ interest in sex usually declines rapidly.

After a period of as little as a minute or as much as an hour or more, his interest in sex in returns. (OK, for some men it might be a week or more!).

Orgasm and ejaculation
Ejaculation, which refers to the ejection of sperm, takes place as the man has his orgasm. In fact men get a feeling of “orgasmic inevitability”, in other words they reach a point of no return. At that point, fluid fills a small sac at the base of the penis and is ejected through the penis.

A man usually begins his orgasm a second or two before he ejaculates. At the moment of orgasm a man typically thrusts deeply and tenses the muscles in his thighs, stomach and back. It’s this tensing of muscles that the man mimics when he does the “Freeze”, probably the most powerful Orgasmic Trigger for a woman.

A mans’ level of arousal drops following orgasm
Immediately following orgasm a mans level of arousal drops rapidly and typically his erection declines just as rapidly. This drop in arousal is quite different to women, who typically maintain a high level of arousal following orgasm. A man may not be capable of getting an erection for several minutes after orgasm, though this varies from man to man.

Typically younger men can achieve another erection within 30 seconds or so whereas for the older man, it may take many minutes or an hour or more before he can achieve another erection.

Male multiple orgasm
Men can have several orgasms during sex. It does vary with age and sex drive. This is not quite the same as a female multiple orgasm where a woman can have 5 or 10 orgasmic peaks a few seconds or tens of seconds apart.

Most men cannot continue beyond 2 or 3 orgasms, unless they have a sufficiently long break. However scientific research is rather sparse in this area so we’d like to know more. Please contact us with your experiences of multiple (or several) orgasms, or post a comment on our forum.
